Wilton Police say Randolph Pettway, 35, of Bridgeport was brought to the department by Connecticut State Police on an active arrest warrant on Friday, Oct. 18.
The warrant stems from an incident on Oct. 8, 2018. Police say Pettway was determined to be a suspect in the larceny and forgery of checks from a Wilton residence.
The checks were stolen and forged to withdraw $7,000 from the victim’s account, police say.
Pettway was charged with two counts of third-degree forgery and third-degree larceny. He was released on a $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
